Room for two more?
If you have ever been to Wagamama during peak times you would have experienced that uncomfortable feeling when the waitress leads new customers towards the place settings next to you on an already crowded table... the Afghan Kitchen on Upper Street Islington however was something else... Despite Wagamama's communal tables and the inability to have any sort of private conversation during the peak times, I still bloody love it (especially the Yaki Udon)! However the Afghan Kitchen was just a bit too much. We booked the table for 7.30 on a Saturday evening, which by London's standards is still pretty early. I say this because before booking the table we read the numerous reviews about how you literally sat elbow-to-elbow to the couple next to you, which we assumed would be at peak busy times (late evening). Walking into the Afghan Kitchen we were hit with AMAZING , smells and I couldn't wait to try the food. At this point there didn't seem to be a prob...
